    Question

Just installed my boost gauge which I bought online for dirty cheap...Below is what I saw. Is it normal range? Why do Ihave vaccum at idle/cruising? If my car is NA, will the boost gauge ever go to "boost" side?

    idle: 20 vaccum
cruise: 10 to 20 vaccum depending on crusing
    conditions
    hard acceleration: 7 psi boost

My car is a GSR w/ JRSC at stock 6 psi.

You WILL see vaccum at idle and crusing. If your car is NA the boost gauge will not read boost. The reason you see 7 psi on a 6 psi pulley might be because of the restrictivness of your exhaust system...examples include: factory header, cat, and exhaust...free those up and your boost should creep down a bit. Good Luck.
